EF Academy is the home away from home to exceptional students with a wide range of talents, interests, and leadership qualities—and we’d love for you to become part of our community. Whether you’re outstanding academically, creatively brilliant, or multi-talented in a way that can’t be summed up in a few words, please see our three merit-based scholarships for the 2025/2026 school year below.

Academic Scholarship
This scholarship is for students with a high record of academic achievement in all subjects and who aim to attend university in the US or UK. Scholarship recipients will receive an award worth up to $15,000 USD or £12,000 GBP.*
Scholarship recipients should serve as role models to their fellow students by staying actively engaged in all their classes and achieving excellent progress and effort scores throughout the year. They should also plan to dive into extracurricular activities and enrichment events organized by the academic departments.
This scholarship is available to incoming ninth and tenth graders who apply to our Pasadena or New York campuses, and eleventh graders who apply to our Oxford campus. All recipients must enroll as full-time boarding students.
Along with filling out the regular EF Academy application, you’ll need to interview with one of our faculty members, send a letter of recommendation that highlights your academic achievements, and send your academic record. We’re excited to learn more about you!

Creative Arts Scholarship
This scholarship is for students who shine in art, design, and/or technology. If you have a strong track record and passion in these areas, you could receive an award worth up to $7,500 USD or £6,000 GBP.*
Scholarship recipients should dive into the school’s extracurricular activities and enrichment events related to art, design, and/or technology, all while continuing to pursue their own creative projects. Plus, you should stay active in our school’s creative community by leading class discussions, showcasing your talents, and representing EF Academy at school events such as Open Houses.
This scholarship is available to incoming ninth and tenth graders who apply to our Pasadena or New York campuses, and eleventh graders who apply to our Oxford campus. All recipients must enroll as full-time boarding students.
Along with filling out the regular EF Academy application, you’ll need to submit a digital portfolio showcasing your work in art, design, or technology. Be as creative as you’d like—there’s no specific style or content we’re looking for. We’re excited to see the quality of your work and how you experiment with your craft!

Global Community Scholarship
This scholarship is for students who excel in multiple areas and are actively involved in their school and/or local communities. Are you a basketball-playing, choir-singing math whiz? A theater star who plays an active role in community service? Tell us your unique combination of extracurricular activities and achievements, and you could receive an award worth up to $5,000 USD or £4,000 GBP.*
Scholarship recipients should serve as role models to their peers, consistently demonstrating high standards of performance and positive behavior across all areas of campus life. Additionally, you should remain actively engaged in your academic classes, participate and take on leadership roles in extracurricular activities and enrichment events, and help represent EF Academy at school events such as Open Houses.
This scholarship is available to incoming ninth and tenth graders who apply to our Pasadena or New York campuses, and eleventh graders who apply to our Oxford campus. All recipients must enroll as full-time boarding students.
Along with filling out the regular EF Academy application, you’ll need to send a personal statement in the form of a video or written letter. Tell us why you believe you should receive this scholarship based on your current extracurricular activities and achievements, and how you will make a positive impact on the EF Academy community once you join us on campus.
